Public input

Committees are taking questions and comments

When a committee opens an input window, anyone can propose a question for the witnesses or comment on the text of a bill. Staff read every submission. The Chair and Ranking Member decide which questions, if any, are used. After the hearing, the committee publishes a summary of what it heard.
