Broadband deployment on federal lands
Energy and Commerce, Subcommittee on Communications and Technology
Before Thursday's hearing, the Subcommittee is inviting the public to propose questions for the witnesses on broadband deployment across federal lands. Good questions are specific, tied to how permitting, consultation, or funding actually works on the ground, and backed by something you have seen, measured, or lived. You do not need to be an expert. Staff will read every submission. The Chair and Ranking Member decide which questions, if any, are used.

- Ask one specific thing rather than several at once.
- Tie it to how a process actually works: a timeline, a form, a cost, a decision.
- Say what you have seen, measured, or lived that prompted the question.
- Skip general statements of position. Those are better sent to your Member office.
